Medifast Pricing: A Look At The Cost Of Some Popular Medifast Packages
One of the more common questions that I’m asked about medifast is “how much does it cost,” or “what is the exact price?”
The answer depends on which package you are purchasing. You can buy the products individually (the very popular medifast shakes cost $15.50 for a box of 7, while you can get a box of bars for $16.25 for 7). However, most people buy a package that provides a month’s worth of foods as this is much cheaper overall. I’ll discuss the medifast pricing in the following article.
Cost Of The 5 Plus 1 Plan: This is the most popular women’s plan wherein you eat six times per day (five of the plan’s prepackaged meals that are provided and one “lean and green meal” you make on your own.) You get 143 meals which include a wide variety of shakes, bars, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, soups, fruit drinks, puddings, and cappuccinos. As of this writing, the cost is $299.50 for a four week package and $154.50 for a two week package. And, the company is very good about offering coupon and specials, although they sometimes change the codes, which keeps me busy on my website where I keep the codes updated.
Incidentally, the gluten free, diabetic, and vegetarian plans are considered to be a basic plan. They are the same price as the 5 plus 1, which is the $299 before coupons.
Price Of The Enhanced Meals Package: Basically, the enhanced package is very similar to the 5 plus 1 plan, but the company’s super omega 3 supplements are added to support a healthy heart, skin, and nails. Right now, the cost of this one is $327.50 for a month’s supply.
Pricing On Medifast Momentum Metabolism Boosting Package: The momentum products are designed to boost your metabolism, and the amount of calories and fat your body is able to burn. They contain 100 mg of caffeine and 90 mg of the green tea antioxidant EGCG. These products come in the form of flavor infusers (sort of like crystal light) cappuccino, banana shakes, and chai lattes. In addition to the basic five plus one monthly package (which includes the shakes, bars, oatmeals, eggs, soups, puddings, etc.), you’re given enough metabolism boosting extras to last a month. As of this writing, the cost of the momentum package is $353.50.
Varying Cost Of Lean And Green Meals: While on the diet, you’ll supply one “lean and green meal” on your own each day. This basically is some form of lean protein and veggies. The cost of this really depends on you and how elaborate you want to get with this.
Medifast Coupons, Specials, Discounts, And Deals: One great thing about this diet is you rarely have to pay full price. The company often offers coupon codes and specials / deals that will often get you a certain number of weeks of free food. This can be a significant savings, and can bring the cost of this plan down to one that is actually less than groceries and gas in today’s economy.
