What is a good active speaker for a beginner DJ?
I'm gonna be a party and plan on using my laptop and mixing software. Does anyone Can you recommend a reasonably priced good quality active speakers for a beginner? I've seen a DJ hook your I-Pod to the speakers directly through an auxiliary cable. What type of speaker can do that? Do I have to buy a sub-woofer, along with an active speaker? Again, it is for a garden party with dancing, so I want a good sound, but nothing complicated. Thanks for your help!
